Jury selection began Tuesday for a Trumbull County man charged with the murder of 20-year-old Nathaniel Bradley in May.

26-year-old Zaa Von Hameed appeared in the court as preparation for his trial begins.

Hameed pleaded not guilty earlier this year after police charged him for allegedly shooting and killing Bradley following a bar fight in Park Place 24 Tavern on Parkman Road.

It was the final straw for this bar, which is now permanently closed after Warren police said the tavern was a trouble area that had police presence "numerous times." In the days following Bradley's death, the city reached an agreement with the owner to shut it down.

Hameed was arrested on May 13th after law enforcement reported Hameed fled to Columbus.

At the time, Judge Patricia Knepp deemed him a flight risk and ordered Hameed to be held behind bars without bond.

Opening statements in the trial begin after the jury is selected.
