An opening date has officially been set for the newest Five Below location in the Mahoning Valley.

According to Five Below's website, the discount store's Austintown location will open its doors to customers Friday, November 22. Store hours have not been posted yet, but the store is set to open at 10 a.m. opening day.

Five Below is one of multiple businesses set to fill the building formerly occupied by JCPenney in the Austintown Plaza. We've previously learned that Grocery Outlet Bargain Market is also set to fill part of that space.

While no official opening date was given for Grocery Outlet yet, a representative for the company previously told 21 News the Austintown location was slated to open in October of 2025.

Building plans previously provided to 21 News by Austintown Zoning Inspector Darren Crivelli show 21,655 square feet still available for the property. It is unknown if any tenant has since been approved to take up this space.
