17-year-old arrested after allegedly pointing gun at Austintown police officer at football game
Gavalier says a 17-year-old boy with a firearm allegedly pointed it at a police officer at the game. No shots were fired, but the teen was taken to JJC on multiple charges.
A 17-year-old has been taken into custody after allegedly pointing a firearm at an Austintown police officer during a football game Friday night.
Austintown Police Chief Bob Gavalier told 21 News towards the end of the fourth quarter of the game against Warren G Harding High School, there were large crowds from Warren "causing issues."

No one else from the large crowds was arrested.
