Police hope home security video can help them find whoever shot up a house and a car on Youngstown’s Southside.
The Police Department’s Shotspotter system led officers to a home on East Ravenwood Avenue early Friday where they found one side of the home riddled with bullet holes. A car parked in the driveway had also been shot.
When asked if they have had any recent issues with anyone, one of the home’s residents said he had words with someone who threatened to “clap all y’all.”
Officers picked up shell casings in the street, collecting 25 casings from two different caliber weapons.
According to police, surveillance video from a nearby home shows several people running from the area following the gunshots.
