Eastwood Mall welcomes Santa this weekend with show, music, ice skating, carriage rides

The Eastwood Mall will roll out the red carpet this weekend to welcome the jolliest old elf of all.  

The launch of Eastwood's "Delivering Cheer" holiday campaign is set to kick off with a Santa's Arrival event on Saturday, November 9th. This celebration begins at 12pm, as families are invited to gather for a day of holiday performances, fun and giveaways.

The Salvation Army will set the stage in Center Court by launching its annual Red Kettle campaign. Ballet Western Reserve will then take the floor with a performance of The Nutcracker, followed by local school choirs filling the air with holiday classics, as iHeart Media gives away prizes.

The highlight of the day comes from Castle on a Cloud Entertainment as it puts on a show featuring Santa's elves tracking him down on his Caribbean vacation. The elves will have to work their magic to bring Santa back to the Eastwood Mall in time to see everyone.

 In addition to the festivities in Center Court, Eastwood Mall is pleased to offering new experiences including a pop-up indoor ice-skating rink that will debut near the kid's play area, where families can warm up with hot cocoa and cookies after they skate. The rink will be available throughout the holidays.

 Outside, at the northeast mall entrance near DentalWorks and Tuxedo Junction, visitors can enjoy free carriage rides around the mall on November 9th and 10th, from 12-4pm, courtesy of Misty Lane Performance Horses.
