Boardman voters say no to ambulance service levy
Voters rejected the levy, with 9,214 against it and 11,795 against it.
Voters declined the Boardman Township proposed an additional 4.5 mill 5-year fire levy that would have paid for the township’s own full-time ambulance service and for additional needs for the department, including 20 additional EMS-trained firefighters.
Voters rejected the levy, with 9,214 against it and 11,795 against it. The levy would have cost homeowners $158 for each $100,000 of value.
