Michael Rulli (R) has retained his seat as the voters' choice for Ohio’s US Representative 6th District.
Rulli came away with 242,161 votes compared to Michael Kripchak (D) who earned 120,719.
Rulli defeated Kripchak for a second time this year. In June, Kripchak ran against Rulli in a special election to complete the remainder of former US Congressman Bill Johnson’s time after he resigned.
Rulli had previously served as Ohio State Senator from 2019 through June, at which point Al Cutrona was appointed to this role.
Kripchak served in the US Air Force until 2007, and then pursued a small business opportunity.
