Authorities identify Poland man struck, killed in Youngstown

Authorities have released the name of the man killed after being hit by a car in Youngstown Friday evening.

Jeffery Ebright of Poland Township was hit by vehicle in the 2100 block of Poland avenue at around 8:45 p.m. The 47-year-old man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car was not hurt.

Police are still investigating.
