Another new trial date scheduled for a mother charged in connection with the death of her seven-year-old son in Youngstown.

Thirty-year-old Marquaysha Driver was scheduled to go on trial Monday on charges of involuntary manslaughter and child endangering in connection with the death of her son Devonte Housley. 

According to court records, the trial is now set for January 27 before Judge Anthony D'Apolito.

This marks the second time Driver's trial has been pushed back.

According to an indictment, Driver caused Housley's death when he was shot in her home the morning of October 22, 2023. At the time of the shooting, police believed it to have been accidental.
