A driver has been cited after a suspected drunk driving head-on crash that shut down a major highway in Austintown.

Police say a Nissan Rogue crossover SUV went left of center on State Route 46 Sunday night, running head-on into a Chevy Traverse SUV just north of Interstate 80.

State Troopers cited a driver who failed a field sobriety test.

No one was seriously injured.

Route 46 was closed between Lou Ida Blvd. and Webb Road until the wreckage could be removed.
