Stabbing leaves 'large pool of blood' at Symphony Place intersection in Youngstown

Detectives are working to find out who stabbed a man in Downtown Youngstown late Monday.

A witness told police two men stabbed each other during a fight along West Federal Street near the Symphony Place intersection. Police report finding "a large pool of  blood" on the sidewalk.

One man's face was cut. He was hospitalized and is in stable condition.

The other man ran away.

Officers are trying to learn what led up to the stabbing.
