The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley made an application for the 11th Annual Mike Hull Memorial Family Holiday Mini-Grant available September 28. However, Sunday, October 27 is the final day to apply.

These grants support children and adults with an autism diagnosis. To qualify, the applicants must be residents of Mahoning, Trumbull, or Columbiana counties in Ohio.

The application can be found at the Autism Society of Mahoning Valley's website. Applications will be taken until midnight Sunday. 

The Family Mini-Grant is funded by proceeds from the annual Mike Hull Memorial Poker Run for Autism held every summer. Motorcyclists ride in honor of Mike Hull.

The all-day event features a poker ride that visited establishments in the region. It kicks off with a breakfast and bike blessing, and ends with a basket raffle and live concert. 

The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley focuses on reaching out and serving individuals who need items to help with sensory, educational, fitness, and social needs. This grant is an extension of that focus.
