UPSET: YSU football wins thriller in overtime

The Youngstown State football team hosted number 7th ranked North Dakota under the lights in Stambaugh Stadium.

The Penguins led 21-20 at the half after trading scores in the first. YSU still held a lead after the third, 31-27.

In the fourth quarter, Andrew Lastovka kicked a 35-yard field goal to tie the game at 34 and send it to overtime. 

The Penguins scored on their first possession of overtime, as Tyshon King ran in a 1-yard touchdown, making it 41-34.

North Dakota responded with a touchdown and attempted a 2-point conversion to try to win the game. The Penguins' defense made a game-winning stop, and YSU went on to win 41-40 over North Dakota. 

The Penguins snapped a two-game losing streak and moved to 3-6 on the season.
