Huntington Bank on Boardman-Canfield Road to permanently close in January

A Huntington Bank branch on Boardman-Canfield Road will be closing its doors permanently soon.

A 21 News employee spotted a sign posted on an ATM stating the branch located at 3801 Boardman-Canfield Road will be closing its doors permanently on January 10, 2025.

According to the note, customers can still visit nearby branches at 11 Manor Hill Drive in Canfield, as well as 711 Boardman-Canfield Road in Boardman. Customers can also still utilize Huntington's online banking through its mobile app.

Anyone with any questions about this closure is asked to speak with their banker.

We reached out to Huntington Bank for comment and they provided the following statement.

"Huntington regularly reviews its distribution network and makes adjustments and improvements to ensure our mix of branches, ATMs, and online and mobile banking continues to meet our customers’ evolving needs."

"The Canfield branch will be closing.  Huntington Bank looks forward to serving customers at our branch located just 1.54 miles away, at 11 Manor Hill Dr."
