If you're craving some warm cookies, but all the bakeries have closed for the night, there's a new shop in town that'll satisfy your cravings into the late hours of the night.
Insomnia Cookies opened its first location in the Mahoning Valley on Youngstown State University's campus on Lincoln Avenue near Jimmy John's on Monday, October 14.
Unlike most other bakeries and restaurants, Insomnia will be open after 9 and 10 p.m. The store's hours are 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday and noon to 1 a.m. Sundays.
Insomnia offers classic cookie favorites like chocolate chip and sugar cookies, as well as more adventurous flavors like matcha and churro cheesecake. In addition to cookies, the store also offers brownies, ice cream and more sweet treats.
