The Mahoning County Coroner's Office has released the identities of all four victims in a deadly explosion in Ellsworth Township over the weekend.

21 News had previously learned the identities of two of the four victims including 69-year-old Jeffery Kocanyar and 67-year-old Joann Kocanyar. The other two victims have now been identified as 33-year-old Julie Lubic and 33-year-old Adam Lubic.

The four were killed in an explosion at a home on the 8500 Block of Huxley Road shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday, October 5. One neighbor told 21 News the blast was so fierce it knocked her to the ground and shattered her windows.

In the days following the explosion, 21 News has learned more about the Kocanyars with the owner of Quaker City Motor Sports in Salem telling 21 News Jeffery left his mark in the park over the past 14 years.

Meanwhile, Joann was remembered as an employee of Rulli Brothers for 20 years with thousands sounding off on the store's Facebook page about how she brightened their days.

The Ohio State Fire Marshal's office is still examining evidence, trying to determine things like whether this was caused by some kind of gas or if the damage is too extensive to determine.

On Friday, a 21 News crew spotted a new agency, NEFCO Fire Investigations, at the scene.

The organization, billed on its website as the leading fire investigation company, is conducting its own private investigation, which is in its preliminary stages.

A representative for the state fire marshal told 21 News that they did not hire them.

Since NEFCO is a private company, they could have been brought in by Ellsworth Township or hired by someone else like a surviving family member.
