The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley (CMFV) has awarded over $616,000 in grants to 58 non-profits across the Valley.

According to a press release, $258,985 was awarded through the Foundation's General Grant opportunity.

Meanwhile, the Foundations two affiliated health foundations Trumbull Memorial Health Foundation and Western Reserve Health Foundation awarded $65,700 and $130,000 respectively.

Additionally, the William Swanston Charitable Fund awarded $75,000 to support youth-focused projects and The International Institute Funds awarded $29,500 to projects supporting immigrants and cultural celebrations.

In addition, CFMV facilitated the distribution of $57,146 through the Warren Sixth Ward Neighborhood Impact fund to disburse ARP funds allocated to Warren's Sixth Ward. A second round of funding for the Sixth Ward will be available in 2025.
