Folks looking to make an impact in the community may get the chance to.

The Columbiana County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board is opening up mini-grant opportunities for those looking to improve mental health and substance use prevention in their community.

Any local group with annual budgets less than $250,000 can apply. This includes churches, theatre groups and youth and adult organizations.

Organizations that apply can win grants for up to $10,000 and all projects that win money must be completed between Nov. 1 and June 30, 2025, according to the organizations post on Facebook.

Those interested are required to get a request for proposal packet from the organization - which can be made via email, mail or phone.
