Road work along Interstate 680 has been ongoing and is expected to be completed by mid-October. However, some drivers may also see items on poles that are also mounted along the road. What are they?

The flat, upside-down-looking pie pan devices are actually the new lights being installed by the Ohio Department of Transportation near Midlothian Blvd. in Youngstown.

Drivers may see the new lights going up, which look very different from those that previously stood over the intersection. The lights are on the side, and on top is the light bracket, which holds the lights onto the pole. ODOT District 4 Public Information Officer Ray Marsch told 21 News that the new lights can be easily moved or adjusted for any future maintenance needs.
