Cedar Point, known for its collection of roller coasters, will debut Siren's Curse in the summer of 2025. The attraction will be the tallest, fastest, and longest "tilt" roller coaster in North America, according to a news release from the amusement park.
Themed around the legend of Lake Erie sirens, Siren's Curse will take riders on a two-minute journey ascending a 160-foot-tall former shipping crane tower, where they'll experience a pause as their train tilts 90 degrees into a vertical position. After a moment, the track will connect, sending riders on a 2,966-foot course with speeds reaching 58 mph.
The ride will feature 13 moments of weightlessness, two 360-degree zero-gravity barrel rolls, and a high-speed "triple-down" section with twists and banks. Each 24-passenger train will have integrated audio and LED lighting to enhance the experience.
Located near the Iron Dragon suspended coaster and Cedar Point Marina, Siren's Curse will join Cedar Point's lineup of 19 roller coasters, including Millennium Force, Steel Vengeance, and Maverick. The Top Thrill 2 coaster is also scheduled to reopen in 2025.
