A bridge connecting Ohio and West Virginia will be closed for maintenance.

The Wayne Six Toll Bridge, also known as the Newell Bridge, will be closed for a week starting September 16.

It connects Newell, West Virginia to East Liverpool.

The Newell Bridge and Railway Company posted to their Facebook earlier this week, announcing the closures.

The bridge was first built in 1904, and gets inspected every year.

According to the company's Facebook page, the repairs are expected to take one week to complete, but that they could take longer.
