Youngstown selects IGS Energy for natural gas aggregation program
The City of Youngstown has announced that it has selected IGS Energy to serve the next term of its natural gas aggregation program.
According to a press release, the city established a 12-month fixed rate of $3.44 per Mcf of natural gas for program members. This new rate will run through the September 2025 meter reads.
Customers should expect a letter from IGS Energy to arrive on or shortly after September 18. That letter will explain the rate and terms and conditions of the offer.
Anyone who is already in the program will not need to take any additional action to continue on with the new term.
"We are pleased to make this rate available for our residents and small businesses. The fixed rate will give them price protection and budget stability for the next year," the city said in the release.
The city says there is no charge to join the program and there is no early termination fee.
