For years, pop up shops for teen girls or women have been held in the Valley, offering prom dresses for teens, and suits for interviews.

But there has been a void for men until Saturday in Warren, at a pop up store for teens and young men called, "It Suits You."

There various styles of suit jackets, dress shirts and slacks, including hundreds of ties at a pop up shop held at TMHA, or the Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority business complex.

There was a limited supply of belts, shoes, and socks as teens browsed while some parents helped find their sons the perfect fit in professional wear.

The Trumbull County Family and Children First Council Partnered with the Cadence Care Network, to host a free pop up shop called, "It Suits You." Doors opened at 1 p.m. but some teens were waiting there by noon.

"We saw a need in the community for something that was specifically directed towards men and people," It Suits You co-organizer, Connor Sewickley, said.

"We wanted to make dressing up and going to special events affordable for everybody," Bonnie Wilson, It Suits You co-organizer, added.

The community, companies and Goodwill stepped up over the year, to donate new and gently worn dress attire for high school students in Trumbull County. The event is right on time for this fall's homecoming.

"A lot of it has price tags on it. Some have never been worn, so it's really nice clothing, designer clothing. A lot of really nice clothing," Wilson said.

There were even lessons on tying a Windsor knot for formal events.

"We are also planning on having this again around prom season," Sewickley added.

Future events will be posted on Facebook sites of the main organizers, The Trumbull County Family and Children First Council and Cadence Care Network.
