The Ohio State Highway Patrol has arrested the driver of an SUV who they say led a Trooper on a 100-mile-per-hour chase in Warren.

The patrol tells 21 News that a Chevy Blazer sped away along Parkman Road at around 3 a.m. Friday when they tried to pull it over for a traffic violation near Tod Avenue NW.

Video shows troopers making a U-turn after seeing a car troopers say was driven by 43-year-old Christina Barrios of Mineral Ridge go left of center nearly striking a cruiser.

Troopers then attempt to conduct a traffic stop on the SUV, but video shows Barrios continued to flee at a high rate of speed, sometimes approaching three times the 35-mph limit.

The chase continued for a couple of miles toward downtown, with the SUV swerving into oncoming lanes nearly striking other vehicles.

At one point, the video shows the SUV stopped at an intersection and troopers telling Barrios to put it in park, but she instead made a left turn onto West Market Street.

The pursuit ended when the SUV stopped near a gas station on West Market Street.

The video shows Barrios telling troopers she was "looking for the baby" and "looking in [her] glove box for [her] wallet to take the baby to get something to eat."

Despite this, troopers said there was no baby in the vehicle, but say they did find suspected oxycodone along with drug paraphernalia.

Barrios was taken to the Trumbull County Jail and is charged with OVI, reckless operation and failure to comply with the signal or order of a police officer.

She is set to be arraigned Monday, September 9.
