POLICE: Two people shot in Youngstown Tuesday night
Police in Youngstown are investigating after receiving reports that two people had been shot in the city Tuesday night.
According to a report, the shooting happened at 10:30 p.m. on Brooklyn Avenue after receiving a ShotSpotter notification and calls that two people had been shot.
The report does not list the two victims' conditions.
Police collected multiple spent shell casings stretching west on Brooklyn from the area where a vehicle was sitting. The vehicle was towed away from the scene.
At this time, it is unclear what the vehicle's involvement was in the shooting due to redactions on the report.
Police say while were helping one of the victims, two men walked under the crime scene tape and began walking through the crime scene. Police told the two men to leave the scene, but only one complied according to the report.
Police continued to tell the other man, identified as Damon Huff to leave the scene, but police say he continuously refused even after being warned he would be arrested.
Police arrested Huff, who is now charged with misconduct at an emergency. He was arraigned on this charge on Thursday.
No arrests were made in connection with the shooting itself.
