Canfield Fair attendance remains steady, slightly down
“Considering the extreme temperatures we had at the start of the 178th Canfield Fair, we had an incredibly strong finish," said Timm Schreiber, Canfield Fair Board Director. "That speaks to the commitment of the Mahoning Valley."
As the sun set on the 178th Canfield Fair, the Fair Board released the official attendance numbers for this year's best six days of summer.
The six-day attendance number for the 2024 Canfield Fair totaled 273,709 attendees.
The number is steady, but slightly down compared to 275,080 attendees in 2023.
“Considering the extreme temperatures we had at the start of the 178th Canfield Fair, we had an incredibly strong finish," said Timm Schreiber, Canfield Fair Board Director. "That speaks to the commitment of the Mahoning Valley, to the fair, and the traditions that go along with it."
The Canfield Fair is the largest county fair in the State of Ohio.
The 179th Canfield Fair is slated for August 27- September 1, 2025.
