After deliberating for less than a half hour, a jury has found a Howland Township man guilty of all 11 charges of having child pornography and engaging in sexual conduct with his family dog and recording it on video.

The Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office tells 21 News that Trent Addicott will be sentenced on September 3 on charges of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, two counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, and five counts of sexual conduct with an animal.

As the case opened earlier Tuesday, Assistant Prosecutor Gabe Wildman asked the jury to hold the 27-year-old accountable for his conduct.

Wildman showed the jury videos of Addicott allegedly performing a sex act in front of a two-year-old, as well as recapping videos of him allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with an animal.

The videos were shown to the jury during the trial.

Wildman said the investigation began following a cyber tip with a website recognizing a child pornography video and forwarding it to investigators. Wildman says the video was traced back to Addicott.

The defense countered, saying that despite the distaste the jury should have for Addicott's alleged crimes, the government was not able to prove that Addicott committed these crimes beyond a reasonable doubt.

The defense conceded that Addicott had child pornography, but said that is not what he was charged with adding that it's up to the jury to decide whether or not the evidence presented suits Addicott's charges without being "blinded" by the "disgusting" nature of the videos shown.

The Fairview Avenue man has been jailed on a $500,000 bond since Howland Police arrested him on May 30.
