OVI checkpoint scheduled for Parkman Road in Warren

Officers will be checking for impaired drivers tonight in Trumbull County. 

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Warren Township Police Department, will hold an OVI checkpoint tonight from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Parkman Road. 

There will also be saturation patrols throughout Trumbull County. 

The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.

If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
