Coroner releases name of 20-year-old killed in 'targeted' shooting on I-680
The Mahoning County Coroner's Office has released the identity of a 20-year-old man killed on I-680 in Youngstown Tuesday afternoon.
The victim was identified as 20-year-old Christian Moretti. An autopsy will be conducted at the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police believe Moretti to have been shot near the Glenwood and Mahoning Avenue exit. Police say the vehicle continued to travel down the interstate before stopping near the Mahoning Avenue Bridge.
According to police, Moretti was the only one in the vehicle at the time of the shooting and no one else was injured.
Police believe the shooting to have been a targeted attack. No arrests have been made yet, but police previously told us they have some leads.
The incident remains under investigation by the Youngstown Police Department and Mahoning County Coroner's Office.
