Youngstown Police investigating homicide after body found on city's east side
Youngstown police are investigating after receiving a report of a body found on the city's Eastside.
Police confirmed Monday morning that officers were called to the area of Liberty Road and Wardle Avenue just before 6:30 a.m. Monday.
Police say a person who was driving by noticed the body of a 34-year-old male on the side of the road.
YPD detectives, along with YPD's Crime Scene Unit and investigators with the Mahoning County Coroner's Office all responded to the scene to investigate.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide. Police have not made any arrests or named any suspects at this time.
