Frozen chicken recalled over metal contamination concerns

If you have a package of frozen chicken nuggets in your freezer, you may want to exercise some caution.

Perdue Foods has recalled 167,171 pounds of frozen ready-to-eat chicken nuggets and chicken tenders over concerns it may be contaminated with metal.

The items were made on March 23 and includes Perdue Simply Smart Organics Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets, Perdue Chicken Breast Tenders and Butcherbox Organic Chicken Breast Nuggets.

The [products have establishment number "P-33944" on the back of the package.

Complaints were filed where customers were finding metal wires in the food.

If you have any of these packages, throw them away or returned.
