The wait is over for Champion graduate Randy Gradishar and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

After 35 years, Gradishar was the 373rd NFL player inducted in Canton.

"My high school coach Al Carrino, Bill Thorne, Jim Betts and Jeremy Carlton.  At Champion high school, when I was in the ninth grade you built the football program . Thank you for your interest in me and help me learn the sport," said Gradishar during his acceptance speech.

He also recognized Archie Griffin, who was in attendance along with his former Bronco teammates.

Gradishar is the first Trumbull County player inducted into the Hall of Fame since Paul Warfield in 1983.
