The Early Learning Center at the JCC of Youngstown has gotten a financial boost for its enrichment program.

It got $32,000  from The Penner Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation while $6,529.42 was given by the M. Fisher Memorial Fund.

They will use the money to engage ELC students in fun programs to increase their motor and emotional skills, increase their emotional learning and learn lifesaving water safety skills, according to a news release from the organization.

Additionally, the students will swim in the JCC's pool, make artwork in the Paul and Yetta Gluck School of Visual Arts, play in the JCC's gym and more.
