A judge has added six months to the sentence already handed down to a Warren man convicted for the fatal overdose death of a Youngstown woman back in November.
During a hearing on Thursday, Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Donald Rice sentenced 28-year-old Tommy Couch to six additional months in prison for a methamphetamine conviction.
The six months will be added to the 10 to 15-year prison term issued on Wednesday after Couch pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated trafficking in drugs.
The charges stem from the fatal overdose of a 34-year-old Youngstown woman in November of 2023. Couch provided the woman the drugs that caused the woman's death.
