Clark's Donuts opens in Grove City, sells out on first day
A new place called Clark's Donuts is the place to be if you are looking for a donut or two in Grove City.
Clark's Donut's have been selling their homemade donuts across Mercer County and Pennsylvania since 1937. A new location has opened right in the heart of downtown in Grove City.
The donut shop opened it's doors this past Wednesday and opening day was an instant sell out.
The donuts are made in Venango County and drove to Grove City around 4 a.m. each day.
"When I was setting up the route for how many donuts we'd get today I went conservative. I ordered 100 dozen. We were sold out by 8 a.m.," said Evan Martin, Clark's Donuts store owner.
Clark's Donuts is a stand-alone store and marks the first shop in Mercer County to open.
"We found a community that really knows how to show up for local business," Martin said.
The store has more to offer than just donuts, with treats like cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls and more.
Clark's Donuts is located at 117 S Broad Street and is open 5:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. everyday except Tuesday and Sunday.
