Two new restaurants will be making themselves at home in Boardman very soon with one of them being the first location in the entire Mahoning Valley.

Boardman Township Administrator Jason Loree tells 21 News two new restaurants including BIBIBOP Asian Grill and First Watch will be coming to the township soon.

This would be BIBIBOP's second Valley location with the first one just opening in the Eastwood Mall complex in May of 2024. 

Meanwhile, this would be First Watch's first location in the Valley with the closest locations currently being Cranberry Township, PA and Canton, Ohio.

There is currently no time frame for when either restaurant will open, but Loree tells us that Bibibop will be located somewhere in The Shops at Boardman Park and First Watch will be located on Route 224 at the former Choolaah location.

According to BIBIBOP's website, BIBIBOP is a fast-casual restaurant that serves customizable bowls. Its ingredients are gluten-free and vegan-friendly. 

First Watch specializes in breakfast and brunch foods with classic favorites like pancakes, waffles and French toast, as well as omelets eggs and much more.
