Families looking for a fun event by the water on Sunday are in luck.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources are hosting the Little Beaver Creek Stream Life Day on Sunday, July 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The free event is a 50 year anniversary celebration of Little Beaver Creek, according to the ODNR.

It will feature several demonstrations and hands-on activities including a chance to look for aquatic critters in the water.

Folks that go will get a a chance to learn more about the Little Beaver Creek State Wild and National Scenic River and about those that work to conserve all it has to offer.
