The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a "Christmas in July" event this weekend to "bring holiday cheer to the community" this summer.

The event kicks off Friday, July 26 at the Firestone Pool at Firestone Park in Columbiana from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Attendees can Swim with Santa at $5 per person or $20 per family, take pictures with Santa, play games, take part in cookie decorating (cash only), and enjoy a snack bar (cash only).

Festivities continue Saturday, July 27 on Main Street in Columbiana from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Attendees can enjoy artisan vendors, food trucks, games and kids activities, an inflatable obstacle course, and special performances and contests listed below:

11:00 AM: Keller Family Holiday Performance at the Circle
1:00 PM: Dog Christmas Costume Contest at Paws on Main
2:00 PM: Snowball Fights
3:00 PM: Ugly Christmas T-Shirt Contest at Pocket Park

T-shirts for the event will also be available for $20 each.
