Folks studying to get into the hospice industry will get an opportunity to further their education in August and September.

Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice Greater Youngstown will host two hospice workshops at the Eastwood Event Center on Aug. 8 and Sept. 25.

Both workshops will begin at 8:30 a.m. and go until 5 p.m., according to a news release from Ohio Living.

The workshops are designed for medical professionals and individual caregivers and will cover a variety of end-of-life care topics.

Focused presentations and panel sessions will be included at the event. Lunch will also be provided at both sessions.

"Our goal is to bring in high-level speakers to help elevate our passion and awareness of this important field we work in," said Sarah Hadley, executive director of Ohio Living. "We want to provide next-level content that gets people thinking deeper and ultimately makes hospice better."

Continuing Education Credits will be given to those who qualify that attend the workshops.
