Construction is underway for the new Dave & Buster's entertainment center set to open within the next year at the Eastwood Mall Complex.

According to a press release from the Cafaro Company, work is currently being done to remove roofing materials and replace heating, ventilation, and cooling (HVAC) units over the space formally occupied by Dillard's. The space will also receive entirely new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as a new roof.

The opening of the Dave & Buster’s location in Niles was first announced in April 2024.

The press release also states that the Eastwood Mall location “will be the Mahoning Valley’s largest venue” to watch sporting events in addition to playing arcade and virtual reality games.

This will be the first Dave & Buster's in the Mahoning Valley with the closest currently being located in the Belden Village Mall in Canton.

Officials with the Eastwood Mall Complex and the Cafaro Company anticipate that the new restaurant will be open later this year or in early 2025.
