A 56-year-old Youngstown man was not sentenced on Tuesday for setting fire to a garage in Warren. The court instead set a new sentencing date of August 6.
Richard Cappella was arrested on February 9 after firefighters say he was caught practically red-handed setting fire to a detached garage on the 3300 block of Tanya Avenue NW.
After witnesses say they saw who set the fire, police arrested Cappella as he was running away from the fire scene.
The fire destroyed the garage and damaged the home nearby.
Cappella pleaded guilty in May to aggravated arson.
