The Market Street Bridge will play a role in Youngstown’s Independence Day celebration.

If you plan to go Downtown to celebrate the Fourth, you'll need to avoid the bridge.

The span is closed from 8 a.m. July 4, until 1 a.m.  July 5 for the city’s Walk of Fame Ceremony, and the Fireworks and Food Trucks event in Wean Park below the bridge.

During the evening JAC Management Group will light Huntington Bank Community Alley in Wean Park red, white and blue.
