Sentencing date set for suspect in Warren arson that killed teen
One of the suspects in the deadly arson case that claimed the life of a teenager has a sentencing date set.
Brendan Daviduk, 30, is scheduled for sentencing on July 24 at 1:30 p.m. and faces a minimum of 32 years behind bars before being eligible for parole.
Daviduk pleaded guilty last month to his role in the deliberately set fire at a Warren home on Nevada Avenue NW that killed 16-year-old Chassidy Broadstone in January 2023.
Along with Daviduk, two other suspects, Zackary Gurd and Patricia Zarlingo, have also pleaded guilty.
Gurd pled guilty in December 2023 but has not been sentenced yet. His sentencing hearing hasn't been scheduled yet.
Zarlingo took a plea deal in late June and was sentenced to life in prison with the eligibility of parole after 35 years.
