The Varsity Club is the newest restaurant set to open it's doors in Downtown Youngstown.

Owner, John Rudy is currently in the middle of renovations of the newest restaurant and bar in the city, on the corner of Hazel Street and Commerce Street.

With all of the uncertainty in Downtown Youngstown after the Realty Building explosion, Rudy is still optimistic that The Varsity Club will be a success and Downtown Youngstown will bounce back. 

“A setback is a set up for a comeback, and I believe that's what's going to happen Downtown. I know that we're going through a lot, but we still believe in Downtown Youngstown. I don't hope, I know it's going to come back," said Restaurant Owner, John Rudy.

The Varsity Club is set to open around August or September of 2024.
