There are only 57 days left until the start of the 178th Canfield Fair and now Monday night's entertainment act has been revealed.
Former American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry's band will headline the September 2nd show with supporting acts Buckcherry and Hinder.
Daughtry's self-titled debut album was the best-selling album of 2007 according to Billboard and is the fastest-selling debut rock album in Soundscan history. The album contained four songs that reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 including "It's Not Over", "Home", "Over You" and "What About Now."
Other Daughtry songs to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 include "Feels Like Tonight", "No Surprise", "Life After You", "September", "Crawling Back to You", and "Waiting for Superman."
They've also won four American Music Awards and seven Billboard Music Awards.
Buckcherry is best known for the song "Sorry" which peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100.
Hinder is best known for their hit song "Lips of an Angel" which peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006.
