Multiple road closures in Poland and Boardman Townships are scheduled to close beginning Monday, July 8. 21 News has the details on each closure.

In Poland Township, Dobbins Road will be closed between SR-170 and Struthers Road for about 45 days beginning July 8 in order to replace two structures by the Shelly Company. The Shelly Company is an asphalt mixing plant out of North Jackson.

This will be a complete closure.

The detour route will be SR-170 to Route 224 to Struthers Road.

Meanwhile in Boardman, two closures on Western Reserve Road will begin simultaneously on July 8.

The first closure will be just west of Glenwood Avenue and will last about 30 days in order to complete the installation of a concrete box culver as part of the ongoing Western Reserve Road Widening Project.

This will be a complete closure.

The detour route will be Glenwood Avenue North to Route 224 West to Hitchcock Road South to Western Reserve Road.

At the same time, Western Reserve Road will also be closed between Market Street and Southern Boulevard for ongoing construction in connection with the previously-mentioned road widening project.

This will also be a complete closure, but is only expected to last about two weeks.

The detour route will be Market Street to McClurg Road to Southern Boulevard to Western Reserve Road.
