Seth Lugo got the start for the Royals and made things difficult for Cleveland. He tossed ten strikeouts in the victory and didn't surrender a run. 

The Royals struck first off a failed double-play for Cleveland allowing Kansas City to get on the board first. The Royals created a 6 nothing lead before Jose Ramirez was able to get his team on the board with an RBI that scored Daniel Schneemann. 

Josh Naylor batted in Jose shortly after that but it was too late for the Guardians to complete a comeback. 

Royals win 6-2 over the Guardians. Cleveland will now get ready for a series with the White Sox beginning on Tuesday.
