Sentencing once again delayed for triggerman in robbery that killed Struthers boy
The sentencing for the man found to be the triggerman in a robbery that claimed the life of a Struthers boy has once again been delayed.
According to court records, Brandon Crump was originally scheduled to be sentenced June 26 at 2:00 p.m. However, this hearing has once again been continued.
At this time, the reason for this delay is unknown, but a court filing from June 21 states that documents have been filed under seal. A motion to continue the sentencing was also filed on June 25.
This is the third time Crump's sentencing has been continued with him originally scheduled to be sentenced on March 19 and again on May 1. Both of these hearings were continued.
Crump is now scheduled to be sentenced on July 29.
Crump was found to be the triggerman in a deadly home invasion that resulted in the murder of four-year-old Rowan Sweeney. He is one of three people involved in the crime with the other two being Andre McCoy and Kimonie Bryant.
Both McCoy and Bryant are scheduled to be sentenced July 10.
