Multiple teens are seriously injured after they were thrown from a vehicle in Lawrence County Tuesday afternoon.

According to a press release, the crash happened shortly before 5:00 p.m. on the on ramp from Sampson Street to I-376 West in Union Township when a vehicle failed to negotiate a right turn onto the ramp, went off the road, lost traction in the dirt, flipped on its side and struck a tree.

Two teens, age 13 and 15 respectively, were thrown out of the windows of the vehicle. According to the release, they sustained "suspected serious injuries."

An 18-year-old passenger and 20-year-old driver were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
