The Mahoning County Coroner's Office has released the name of a 19-year-old male killed in a homicide on Youngstown's south side Tuesday night.

The coroner identified the male as 19-year-old Zariyah Dothard.

Dothard was shot just after 10:00 p.m. on the 500 Block of East Judson Avenue. Officers discovered him laying in a driveway with a gunshot wound.

Dothard was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 1:00 a.m

Police say a 17-year-old suspect was turned in to police by family members, and after conducting multiple interviews including one with the suspect, he was taken to the Mahoning County Juvenile Justice Center.

Police did not release the name of the suspect since he is a juvenile.
